Watch on demand: Gate Safe Surgery with FEIG Electronic?

In November, Gate Safe hosted a Safety Surgery in partnership with FEIG ELECTRONIC, focusing on the use of radar-based sensing solutions within barrier and access control systems.

The session brought together technical expertise and real-world insight to explore how modern sensing technology can play a vital role in improving safety and compliance for automated barriers.

If you were unable to attend the live session – or would like to revisit the discussion – the full recording is now available to watch on demand, at a time that suits you.

About the session

The Surgery featured Andrew Molloy, Electronic Account Manager at FEIG ELECTRONIC, who introduced FEIG’s latest Smart Radar Scanner. Designed specifically for barrier access systems, the technology offers a reliable sensing solution to help detect people and vehicles in critical safety areas.

The session was hosted and moderated by Rob Williams, Gate Safe Technical & Training Manager, who guided the discussion and added practical context throughout. Together, they explored how radar-based sensing can support safer barrier design, installation and maintenance, while addressing common challenges faced by installers and duty holders.
