Gate Safe has joined forces with FaCT (Fencing and Construction Training) to raise awareness of the required safety protocol for anyone involved in installing automated and manual gates.
FaCT is one of the largest providers of training, advice and support to the fencing industry in the UK and will be working with Gate Safe to promote its IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) accredited Gate Safe Aware training courses, which run every month throughout the country.
In addition to helping to educate the industry on the importance of the correct safety protocol for an automated gate, FaCT and Gate Safe are looking to explore opportunities to create a dedicated training module which will provide guidance on the correct installation of a gate to minimise the growing number of falling gate accidents.
